Psalms 65:11 – “You crown the year with a bountiful harvest; even the hard pathways overflow with abundance.” (NLT)
Let’s think about the word “crown” in two meaningful ways (there could be more)
- Decoration: A crown adds beauty and honor. God can bless us in ways that enhance our lives, bringing us joy and making us shine.
- Completion or Fulfillment: God is faithful to finish what He starts in our lives, giving it great purpose and significance.
Remember, God is not bound by time. He can bless us whenever, wherever and howsoever He wishes
He can choose to:
– Crown you with glory and honour
– Fulfil of the promises He made
– Answers to questions that weigh on your heart
– Give you new ideas that could change your life
– Energy and motivation for your next steps
– Connect you with people who will help you reach your goals
– Finally give you the promotion you’ve so longed for
God is both the one who begins and the one who completes. If He has started something in your life, trust that He will bring it to completion in a powerful way.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for the abundant blessings You pour into our lives. I trust that even as we wind up this year, your glory and honour will manifest and that everything you started in our lives will be accomplished. AMEN
